my Vision

My love for photography started pretty early in my childhood - I had a little red plastic 35mm film camera that left all my pictures with a washed-out, pinkish tint. While my gear has certainly gotten an upgrade since then (and I’m marginally taller now), my passion for documenting my own life and the lives those around me has remained ever-present.

I’m very lucky that what inspires me creatively every day is now my full-time gig. I don’t ever take it for granted, and I show up to every photo session with a desire to create something that feels different.

My approach is part documentary moments, part editorial. I want to capture my clients’ authentic selves, but in a way that feels elevated and cinematic. I want you to get your photos back and think, “wow - nobody has ever captured me like this”

As human beings, we all want to feel seen and understood. Whether I’ve known you for ten years or ten minutes, I want to hear your story. I want to capture you in a way that feels raw and true with an artistic edge. Whether it’s your wedding day, the day you bring your baby home from the hospital, or just a regular Tuesday - I come to bare witness. Chaos, tears, laughter, all encouraged.

My partner and I have a two year old daughter, so when we're not working, we're usually pretty busy with her - she's very outdoorsy so the three of us spend a lot of time adventuring outside.

I love vintage fashion and I'm also very into sustainable consumption, so I love poking around at  any thrift or antique store I can find. It's also where I find a lot of my props and outfits for creative shoots!

Kyle is a full-time vehicle mechanic who moonlights as my second shooter and assistant. He has an incredible eye for capturing moments and is often catching the little things while I'm preoccupied with the major events of the day. Between the two of us, we are able to divide and conquer to make sure we don't miss any of your wedding day magic. Kyle mostly shoots 35mm and medium format film, but he mixes in some digital as well. Besides his talent and creativity, he is also incredibly kind, easy to get along with, and adaptive. He's a wonderful asset to have on one of the most important days of your life!
